I'm back from Austin! It was a real treat. I'll get some photos of my trip up soon, but for now...
Lausanne-based artist Dimitri Bähler's Patterns & Colors project is right up my alley. These little dollops of awesome were created using an embossing technique the artist developed that presses a patterned foil atop clay between a positive and negative mould. The possibilities, he says, are endless. I like where his head's at.
