Viviane Sassen's photography is so stunning, so interesting. Can't you imagine lingering in front of them, a bit transfixed, if you happened to stumble upon a gallery displaying them? I'd definitely love to see these up close. The rich colors, the mysteriously shaded faces, the plantlife (and shadows of) serving as frame and screen and sometimes shield.
