inside wants out

There is a distinct chill in the air today, so much so that I bundled up in a sweater and jeans and even woolly socks while I had breakfast this morning in my living room. I love fall, and not getting to see the leaves change colors is one of my least favorite parts about living in California (woe is me, right?) - but trust, when the temperature settles anywhere near 65 degrees, you can bet I'll be wearing a felt hat and cozy knits.

I've been hoarding these images for a while, because I haven't been feeling tired of summer really at all (the beautiful cool summer weather we've been having this year is just dreamy). But, with the recent high temps and humidity (ah well), I have to admit, I am daydreaming of sweater weather and my trusty ankle boots.
