Ooooohhhhhhhh. If I worked in fashion, like Opening Ceremony's Kate Foley, Isa Arfen would be my go-to this spring too. The colors, the candy-like gems, the silhouettes. Swoony.

Reality Studio designer Svenja Specht takes inspiration from traditional clothing and ancient craft technique. The spring collection is bundled and warm-hued. I like.

Stumbled upon this amazing L.A.-based label Wrk-Shop via Coolhunting and instantly fell in love with the mildly structural tilt of the clothing and the relaxed feel and styling of the spring 2013 collection. turns out, designer Airi Isoda was inspired by the case study houses built in Southern California in the 1950s (pretty much my favorite decade of building - love!). I can see it. Lots of sweetly simple separates in a clean, sprightly palette of color and texture, and yes, that is the Los Angeles skyline, as photographed by the designer's husband (and design partner), Ryan Upton, from atop Griffith Observatory, gracing shirt collars and shorts hems. Awesome. sdenote: love the first photo's setting in lacma's breezeway and the cool dipped pouches. Wrk-it.
