More coolness from artist Leigh Wells (see my last post here) for your Friday morning. I love these three from her landscapes series. For me, they seem to pose some interesting commentary on the critical concept of landscape - that is, landscape as a collapsed, graspable, constructed, aestheticized, postcard view of a swatch of the world that the human subject can grab onto, understand, and manipulate. Reminds me of some experimental filmmakers working in the landscape arena who I studied in school! See? Cool stuff.
